More help
If you want more help, most hospitals are happy to show you how to use your TENS prior to your due date. Give your nearest hospital a call to find out more details.
How easy is TENS to use?
Very easy! Your birthing partner or midwife can help you attach the sticky pads onto your back. Once applied, you control the intensity and frequency of the electrical pulses according to how much pain you are in.
It takes around an hour for your body to start producing endorphins, so you should start using TENS early on in your labour.
